Yemen designated for Temporary Protected Status (TPS)

The Department of Homeland Security announced Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designations for Yemen due to the ongoing armed conflict within the Country. Under TPS, citizens of Yemen will not be removed from the United States and are authorized to work and obtain Employment Authorization. Applicants must apply between September 3, 2015 through March 3, 2017. and must show that they have been continuously residing in the United States since September 3, 2015 amognst other factors.
