Associate Attorney Alexa (Lexi) Stovsky received her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio and is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio.
Lexi graduated from Syracuse University with a major in Advertising and minors in Spanish, Psychology, and Women’s and Gender Studies. Lexi’s undergraduate minors and related experiences inspired her to become an immigration attorney. She studied in Madrid, Spain and was able to develop her Spanish language fluency. Lexi also volunteered in Thailand and Laos, teaching English to refugees and other natives in their remote villages.
During her time at Case Western Reserve School of Law, Lexi sought out all immigration-related courses and experiences. She worked as a legal intern at the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) Cleveland Immigration Court where she assisted the Immigration Judges in writing their judicial decisions. She also participated in the Immigration Law Clinic where she was able to gain experience representing clients with a variety of immigration-related matters.
Lexi has also worked at Equality Ohio, Ohio’s statewide LGBTQ+ advocacy and legal aid organization. Additionally, she has experience in criminal defense through working with Cleveland Criminal Defense attorney Brad Wolfe at Brad Wolfe Law, L.L.C.
Lexi is extremely passionate about fighting for lived and legal equality for all migrants. Her career is dedicated to ensuring that her clients have access to justice and so that their voices are heard.
