Biography
During her time in law school, Kelsey further honed her skills as a legal intern with the Orlando Center for Justice and Catholic Charities of Central Florida’s Immigration Legal Services department, where she provided pro bono assistance to the greater Orlando community in issues related to asylum, VAWA, and removal defense. Her dedication to immigration legal services earned her recognition as a finalist in the Stetson University College of Law’s William Reece Smith Jr. 6th Annual Legal Pro Bono Showcase in 2022, and she was honored with the “Immigration and Legal Services Volunteer of the Year Award” by Catholic Charities of Central Florida for the 2023 service year. While attending Stetson Law, she actively participated in the Immigration Law Student Association and completed specialized coursework in immigration law and human trafficking.
Kelsey cultivated a passion for advocacy and support for the immigrant community through her experiences studying abroad and participating in service trips to Ukraine and Cuba. She is committed to empowering her clients to access improved life opportunities for themselves and their families, regardless of the specific immigration-related challenges they face.

- Kelsey provided pro bono immigration assistance (with the oversight of licensed attorneys) as a legal intern throughout law school with Orlando-based organizations such as the Orlando Center for Justice (OCJ) and Catholic Charities of Central Florida, Immigration Legal Services. Catholic Charities of Central Florida awarded Kelsey the “Immigration and Legal Services Volunteer of the Year Award” for her commitment to the Immigration and Legal Services department during her 2023 internship.
