Erin P. Brown

Attorney Erin Brown is a Partner at Brown Immigration Law and leads the firm’s operations in Orlando, FL. An experienced practitioner in employment-based immigration, Erin focuses a significant portion of her practice on assisting corporations, large and small, with their specific immigration needs, ranging from securing short-term work visas on behalf of their employees, to advising on permanent residency processes. She also has significant expertise advising individual applicants on employment-based options, such as EB-1A (Extraordinary Ability) and National Interest Waiver filings. Erin has also rounded out her practice with extensive experience in family-based immigration, naturalization and compliance.

Erin is licensed to practice in both the states of Ohio and Florida and is on the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the Federal Bar Association, an organization that provides grants, scholarships and programming to underserved youths interested in pursuing a career in law. She also sits on the advisory board for the Greater Cleveland and is the past President of the Federal Bar Association for the Northern District of Ohio. She has been featured in various publications, including Attorney at Law Magazine and was recently designated as one of 2024 Crain’s Cleveland’s Notable Women in Law.

Erin has been part of Brown Immigration Law since its inception, holding administrative roles before pursuing her career in law. She graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and an Associates degree in Interior Design. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her unique educational background coupled with her real world business experience has given Erin a bedrock of knowledge that she has used in advising clients towards achieving their specific immigration objectives. She is considered one of Brown Immigration Law’s most seasoned employment-based practitioners and helps to lead BIL’s overall employment-based practice group, while also advising its junior-level associates in navigating the increasingly complex web of immigration statutes and regulations.
