Emeline Armitage:
Case Manager
Emeline Armitage is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio Office. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore in 2018 with her Bachelor’s in Spanish Language, International Studies, and Latin American Studies. Prior to joining Brown Immigration in 2020, Emeline interned at the International Office at University Hospitals in Cleveland and worked on local eco-friendly landscaping and gardening projects. Emeline speaks Spanish and would love to learn Portuguese in the future.
Joanie Kaplan:
Case Manager
Joanie Kaplan is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio office. She is graduate of the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a B.S. in Education. For over 20 years, Joanie has worked in the area of immigration law and is highly experienced in the area of employment-based immigration.
Julia Martynowski
Case Manager
Julia Martynowski is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Cleveland State University in 2017. Julia was recognized with an award for Excellence in Spanish by the Department of World Languages at CSU. She gained an interest in immigration law while working at The University of Akron School of Law, where she served as an interpreter and translator for the Immigration & Human Rights Clinic. Julia translated asylum declaration statements and interpreted interviews with native Spanish speaking clients from all over Latin America who were seeking asylum. She is passionate about using her Spanish language skills to help others.
Karina Navarro
Case Manager
Karina Navarro is a trilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law working in the North Carolina office. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. Karina graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in Psychology and Political Science. Prior to working at Brown Immigration Law, Karina was working as a Research Assistant and volunteered as a teacher assistant for ESL coursework and other various assistance to students of different ages and educational needs.
Maritza Zuñiga:
Case Manager
Maritza Zuñiga is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law with our North Carolina office. Maritza joined the firm in March 2018. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Maritza also graduated from the UNC Paralegal Certificate program. She has worked as an immigration paralegal (primarily family-based immigration) for ten years. Maritza is fluent in Spanish and English and has studied French, Italian, and Portuguese.
Kunal Verma:
Case Manager
Kunal Verma is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio Office. He graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus in 2019 with his Bachelor’s in English. Kunal has worked extensively in customer service and can speak Hindi and Punjabi. Being and immigrant himself, Kunal wants to assist other immigrants as they navigate their own immigration matters.
Noelle Baker:
Case Manager
Noelle Baker is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio Office. She graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, where she majored in Communication Studies with concentrations in French and Foreign Affairs and was a member of Pi Delta Phi, the National French Honor Society. She can read and write in French and is actively working on her speaking skills. Noelle is a passionate advocate for Humanitarian Rights and has dreams of working in diplomacy. Noelle gained an interest in immigration law after a capstone project where she was able to learn more about different areas of International Law. Prior to joining Brown Immigration, Noelle was the Service Manager for a local restaurant where she was able to enhance her problem-solving skills and apply her communication studies background to aid in the growth of her team. Noelle is excited to learn, help others by using her skills, and adores the challenges that immigration law proposes.
Christina Corrigan:
Case Manager
Christina Corrigan is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio Office. She received her bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University where she double majored in Psychology and Spanish and Hispanic studies. Christina also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for a semester at Comilla’s Pontifical University. She is fluent in Spanish and has traveled extensively throughout Spain and Mexico. In her spare time she enjoys being with friends & family, playing with dogs and trying out different international cuisine.
Jaclyn Henley:
Accounts Payable Specialist
Jaclyn Henley is an Accounts Payable Specialist at Brown Immigration Law and works in the firm’s Cleveland, Ohio office. Jaclyn has years of accounting experience and is enthusiastic about serving our clients. Prior to Brown Immigration, Jaclyn worked in an accounting department and is thrilled to be working with a growing firm.
Cassady Dishman
Case Manager
Cassady Dishman is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She graduated from the University of Akron with an interdisciplinary degree in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics. She can read and write in Spanish and is conversational in the language. Prior to joining Brown Immigration, Cassady worked at an immigration law firm where she gained substantial experience in a variety of case types for both U.S. and Canadian immigration. She is excited to continue to help people through their immigration processes.
Nadiya Harris
Case Manager
Nadiya Harris is a trilingual Case Manager in our Cleveland, OH office. She graduated with honors from the Ohio State University in 2017 where she studied World Politics, Geography, and Economics. Having immigrated from Ukraine at a young age, she is passionate about assisting others in their immigration journeys! Since 2014, she has been an active member of a local nonprofit aiding newly arrived refugee families and providing them with translation services. Nadiya is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
Lindsey Peck
Case Manager
Lindsey Peck is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Durham, North Carolina office. She received her Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Biochemistry and a Certificate in Public Health from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2020. Lindsey is currently pursuing her Paralegal Certificate at the University of North Carolina. While she has always had a passion for helping others, Lindsey’s studies in Spanish sparked a particular passion for Immigration Law, driving her to join Brown Immigration Law in September 2022. Lindsey has studied Spanish for over 10 years, including studying abroad in Spain. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys watching college sports, cooking new recipes, and spending time with friends and family.
Daniel Toro
Case Manager
Daniel Toro is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Orlando, Florida office. He is from Colombia and moved to Orlando at a young age. Daniel graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 2015, where he studied Political Science and Spanish Literature. He is currently pursuing a Certificate in Legal Translation and Interpretation from the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). Daniel is fluent in Spanish and English.
Dottie Lake
Receptionist / Administrative Assistant
Dottie Lake is the administrative assistant at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. They spent some time studying Spanish language at the University of Akron before pursuing a career in the medical field. During the pandemic, they developed a desire to help people through working in nursing homes. Now, Dottie has decided they would like to continue to develop their Spanish-speaking skills and has shifted their focus to helping people at Brown Immigration Law.
Monica Feuerstein
Case Manager
Monica Feuerstein is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law working at the Columbus, Ohio office. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan. Monica graduated from Cleveland State University and majored in Criminology; she also has a degree in Audiovisual Communications from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Prior to Brown Immigration Law, Monica worked as an analytic linguist for law enforcement agencies. Monica is passionate about languages and has also studied German, French, and Italian.
Victoria Pic
Administrative Assistant
Victoria is the Administrative Assistant in our office in Columbus, OH. She is from Venezuela and immigrated to the United States in 2016. She speaks both Spanish and English. Victoria is passionate about helping others and learning new skills in order to grow professionally, as well as becoming a better person every day. Victoria is happy to have joined Brown Immigration Law and have the opportunity to gain more knowledge about the immigration process and finds it important that our clients feel supported and welcomed.
Meghan Cahil:
Case Manager
Meghan is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. A Northeast Ohio native, she recently graduated from The Ohio State University where she studied Political Science, Arabic, and Nonprofit Management. Meghan is a passionate advocate for vulnerable populations and was actively involved with nonprofits in Columbus, Ohio and specifically those providing services for refugees and victims of human trafficking. Meghan is passionate about using her diverse background to serve our clients.
Roxana Ortiz:
Administrator
Roxana Ortiz is an Administrative Assistant for Brown Immigration Law working in our North Carolina Office. She grew up in Durham, North Carolina and is pursuing her paralegal certificate at Durham Tech Collage. Roxana is fluent in English and Spanish and had acquired more than three years of administrative experience before joining Brown Immigration Law in September 2018.
Sasha Pupovac:
Case Manager
Sasha is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. He received his bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University, where he double majored in Psychology and Health Science. During his time at Cleveland State University, he was a member of the National Honor Society in Psychology and the Graduate Association for School Psychology. Sasha is fluent in Serbian, Croatian and English.
Sofia Dulcich:
Case Manager
Sofia Dulcich is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law’s office in Raleigh, NC. She is from Argentina and is fluent in Spanish and English. Sofia completed her Associates degree in Sustainable Fashion Design in her home country and made a career change when she moved to the United States in 2015. She has over 3 years of customer care and administrative experience and joined Brown Immigration Law in October 2019. As an immigrant herself, Sofia is eager to assist our clients in their immigration paths.
Ash Mohamed:
Accounting Manager
Ash Mohamed is the Accounting Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works out of our Cleveland, Ohio Office. She has 10 years’ experience in Business and Finance and works toward improving her skill set each day. Prior to joining Brown Immigration in 2021, Ash worked in the healthcare industry. She is happy to now be working in Law and Immigration and is eager to learn. Ash spends her time traveling as much as she can and building her record collection.
Angelica Quezada:
Senior Case Manager
Angelica Quezada is a Senior Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Columbus, Ohio Office. She graduated from Columbus State Community College in 2013 with her Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies. She is currently studying in The Ohio State University towards her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. Prior to joining Brown Immigration in 2021, Angelica worked as an immigration paralegal since 2014. Angelica speaks Spanish and is also a public notary.
Marc Wolff:
Senior Case Manager
Marc Wolff is a Senior Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Columbus, Ohio office. He graduated from The Ohio State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Spanish. He also earned a paralegal certificate from the Academy of Court Reporting, after which he served on their Student Advisory Board for several years. Marc has worked as a paralegal/case manager in the area of immigration law for more than 15 years, and speaks Spanish fluently.
Shabeli Perez:
Accounting Assistant
Shabeli Perez is the Accounting Assistant for Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. Shabeli has a decade of experience with customer service, billing, and collections. Shabeli is bilingual speaks Spanish fluently.
Fatima Fernandes:
Case Manager
Fatima Fernandes is a Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Orlando, Florida office. She is from Venezuela and is fluent in Spanish and English. She will be graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2022 with her Bachelor’s in Political Science Pre-Law and a minor in Psychology. Prior to joining Brown Immigration in 2021, Fatima worked in a high-volume immigration firm in Orlando, where she gained substantial experience in family-based petitions and removal proceedings. As an immigrant herself, Fatima has a passion for helping others with their immigration processes.
Allie Eynon:
Case Manager
Allie Eynon is an administrator at Brown Immigration Law in the Cleveland, Ohio office. She is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where she studied Psychology and French/Francophone studies. Allie spent much of her collegiate experience studying French imperialism, which lead her to study abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France. She has acquired over 5 years of customer service experience and speaks French and English.
Andrea Fernandez:
Administrative Assistant
Andrea Fernandez is an Administrative Assistant at Brown Immigration Law working in our Orlando, Florida office. She grew up in Venezuela and is fluent in both English and Spanish with over 5 years of administrative experience and customer service. Prior to joining Brown Immigration Law in 2021, Andrea worked at a high-volume immigration law office in Orlando for about 2 years before joining the management team of a local business office, gaining substantial experience in the administrative area. Being an immigrant herself, Andrea understands the struggles that immigrant families may face on a day-to-day basis and is eager to keep learning while assisting and helping other immigrants with their own immigration processes.
Olga I. Nieves
Senior Case Manager
Olga I. Nieves is a Senior Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Orlando, Florida Office. She graduated from Robert Morris University in Chicago, IL in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. In 2004, Olga received an Associate Degree in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Studies with a certification from the ABA. Olga has worked as a paralegal/case manager in the area of immigration law for more than 18 years and speaks Spanish fluently. Olga worked in high-volume immigration firms in Orlando, where she gained substantial experience in family-based petitions and removal proceedings. She is very passionate about providing excellent immigration assistance to our clients and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Maria Dunn
Bilingual Administrative Assistant
Maria Dunn is a bilingual administrative assistant at Brown Immigration Law, located in Orlando, FL. Originally from Peru, Maria received her bachelor’s degree in hospitality and Tourism and her master’s degree in management currently studying for his Paralegal associate degree at Valencia College, which has provided her with a strong foundation in customer service and organization. She is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. Maria is passionate about human rights and helping individuals achieve their dreams of working and living in a new country. Her skills in organization and communication enable her to provide excellent administrative support to the attorneys and clients at Brown Immigration Law.
Jeimy Mejia
Case Manager
Jeimy Mejia is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Columbus, Ohio office. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also minored in Social and Economic Justice. Her interest in immigration began early on, during a summer internship at a small family law firm, and then continued throughout, with her first job at a corporate law firm right after graduation. Since then, she has gained experience in employment-based immigration mostly and family immigration. She is excited to work with clients of all backgrounds, continue learning about immigration law, and using her Spanish language skills to help others. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her two huskies and traveling to new places.
Jazmin Suarez
Case Manager
Jazmin Suarez is a bilingual Case Manager at Brown Immigration Law and works in our Cleveland, Ohio office. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The Ohio State University. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently studying Vietnamese to broaden her language skills. Having lived in Mexico, Jazmin possesses a profound understanding of the difficulties that immigrants encounter when relocating to the United States. As someone from an immigrant family, Jazmin is committed to assisting those in need.
