Associate Attorney Arianne C. Thomas received her Juris Doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2021 and was admitted to the Ohio Bar in October of 2021. At graduation, Arianne received the Dean’s Leadership Award for her service to the Moritz Law School community. Prior to law school, Arianne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from Long Island University Global College, a non-traditional undergraduate program that afforded her the opportunity to study, conduct research, and live in Costa Rica, China, Argentina, and New York City. Arianne gained fluency in Spanish living abroad, a skill which aids her in helping Spanish-speaking clients navigate the complex US immigration laws.
Arianne is deeply passionate about advocating for immigrants, as well as fighting for equal access to justice. During law school Arianne clerked for Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) in their Agricultural Worker & Immigrant Rights Practice Group, as well as with Brown Immigration Law in our Columbus Office. In her first year of practice, Arianne served as the Skaggs Family Foundation Legal Fellow for Homeless Youth at The Legal Aid Society of Columbus, where she provided pro-bono civil legal services, including some immigration-related assistance, to youth facing and experiencing homelessness in Franklin County. Arianne joined Brown Immigration Law in 2022.
