Trump to Pause Arrival of New Immigrants

NEWS UPDATE: President Trump is expected to sign a new executive order to temporarily pause the arrival of new immigrants, including some family members of U.S. citizens and foreign workers looking to move to the U.S., in the next 60 days. The executive order will begin a 60-day pause only on individuals seeking permanent resident status in the United States and will not affect workers entering the country on a temporary basis. An Executive Order has not yet been issued, but Brown Immigration Law is closely monitoring new developments so that we may best serve our clients.

Brown Immigration Law recommends that individuals and employees continue to move forward with their immigration processes to reduce the risk that these matters may be subject to backlogs that may occur.
